I have arrived!
I in fact arrived Sunday 20th but I have been busy busy throughout the day and at night i have been catching up on my jet lag. Saturday the 19th I flew from Manchester Airport to Hong Kong then Hong Kong to Sydney, on each plane we received two meals and snacks as well as free drinks.
Monday was a quiet day spent looking around Rousehill town shops and trying my first Aussie ‘maccas’ as they call it. However I just played it safe and got a cheeseburger!
Onto Tuesday when the real tourist activities began and I spent my day in the City. We drove into the city over the bridge and parked up in Darling Harbour.
Darling Harbour is an absolute must place to visit if you come to Sydney, there is a small shopping centre and a row of lots of restaurants. You can get pizza, fish, steak, anything!
I enjoyed fish and chips at The Waterfront Grill which tasted so yummy and fresh.
Then came the best part of the day. I was nervous at first to go up the Sydney Tower Eye, but if you are ever in Sydney you must go up. The views were absolutely breath taking, so worth the claustrophobic lift.
We later took a walk back to the Bridge but it started to rain! So we sat in a Diner called City Extra and I had a strawberry milkshake.
Then Wednesday, I started the day off with a visit to Featherdale wildlife park and got to meet these guys!
Later on I visited the world famous Sydney Royal Easter Show!
So far I am absolutely loving Sydney, more to come!
