Make-up look using Primark’s PS… Nudes 28 Shade Eyeshadow Palette

I apologise for my absence for the last month or so! I have been in one big dissertation hole, but it is now finished, so i’m back!

I thought I would do a bit of a different post today, As many of you may know, Primark have recently brought out various different ranges of Makeup. So this post will be me testing out one of the products from the PS… Nudes collection.

I recently purchased the 28 Shade eyeshadow palette from the PS… Nudes collection, for just £8!

The collection also includes:

  • Highlight and Contour Kit
  • Matte Eye Crémes
  • Liquid Lipsticks
  • Matte Lipsticks
  • Double-ended Brush (verrry similar to the Kim K version)
  • Body Shimmer Dust
  • Ultimate Lip collection

The palette includes a mixture of matte, shimmer and glitter shades, with all the basic neutral colours you could ever need, as well as some darker shades.

I swatched 25/28 of the shades as I did have some trouble getting some of the lighter/glitter shades to show up in a swatch.  Some of the darker shimmer shades really surprised me with how pigmented they are, although some of the lighter shades I don’t feel pay off very well and have a lot of fallout. There are some really gorgeous shades that would work really well as highlighters.

The matte shades are pretty chalky like many matte shades, but they are really easy to blend. Although its a nude palette, there are shades for more everyday, natural looks; shades that can be used as base shades, as well as shades you can definitely make more dramatic looks for nights out (or everyday, cos why not?)

I decided to use some colours that I wouldn’t usually tend to use, as i would usually reach for the golden shades.

I used the 5 shades highlighted above to create this look. After applying a primer on my lid, I used Shade 1 and blended it across my lid to act as a base. I also then applied shade 2 across my lid. Following this I applied shade 3 to my lower V and crease and shade 4 to the inner corner of my eye. To finish off, I used shade 5 as a highlight and applied it to my brow bone. I also used the trusty £1 Primark sultry lashes to compete the look.

I’m really loving this palette and for £8, I definitely think it should be a staple to everybody’s makeup collection. I’m really looking forward to trying out more looks using this palette and its definitely a palette I will reach for often.

Thank you very much for reading,

Please do leave any comments if you have tried anything from this collection and what you think!

I will be back sooner next time!!!
